Sadly, summer is coming to an end and the weather will no longer be exclusively warm and sunny, but that doesn’t mean you have to stay trapped inside your home. We have some great ideas on how to enrich your outdoor decor to make you feel more at home outside. Take a read below!
Create Something Rustic
Add some additional seating to your patio by creating some rustic looking furniture, with nothing more than some wooden pallets and a fresh coat of paint. To add a weathered and trendy look, sand off a little paint here and there to add a distressed look to your new piece, giving it a bit more character. A pallet on its own won’t be too comfortable, so be sure to add some cushions and throws to add some personality, additional comfort and warmth.

Keep It Soft
Painting your front door seasonally is a great way to keep your home looking fresh and new all year long. Adding a soft pastel colour is great for increasing curb appeal and plays well off of some of the muted seasonal gourds and pumpkins you can find at some of your local pumpkin patches or farmer markets. This soft pastel colour palette is a refreshing approach to the conventional orange and yellow palette that Fall is often associated with.

If you’re planning on spending time on your porch then you might as well do it in comfort, and there is no other method that is more comfortable than a day bed. The outdoor daybed allows you to cosy up under a heavy blanket and stretch out for a nice evening nap in the crisp Fall air. After experiencing the comfort of a daybed, a regular patio chair just won’t do.

Keep It Rocking
The rocking chair is a classic staple when it comes to outdoor patio decor. Whether you’re reading, scrolling through Instagram, or knitting a sweater, a rocking chair is a timeless piece that is perfect for any occasion and never goes out of style.
